B. Zaitz & Sons, LLC is a vertically integrated, leading-edge, diversified agricultural development, operations and investment firm. Founded in 1892, B. Zaitz & Sons, LLC has successfully deployed and managed over $1.3 billion of capital in agriculture. Our investments range from green-field startups and technology companies to some of the largest agricultural operations in the world.

Ben Zaitz serves as President of B. Zaitz & Sons (BZS).

Predominantly focused on farmland investment and dairy operations through the 1980’s and 1990’s, Ben took BZS in a new direction by founding, later renamed, the world’s first online agricultural marketplace. In the early 2000’s, Ben co-founded Teays River Investments, a $2 billion agricultural operating company, where he green-fielded the largest organic dairy in the country and made investments across the agricultural space, including: table grapes, seed corn, row crops, strawberries, and rice operations. Today, Ben oversees BZS’s investments across the potato, beef cattle, and other agricultural industries.

Ben graduated Cornell University, majoring in Agricultural Economics.
